The Timberland Investment Conference, hosted annually by the University of Georgia’s Harley Langdale Jr. Center for Forest Business, offers timber industry investors, fund managers, and experts an unbeatable opportunity to network with industry professionals and learn more about global timberland markets, trade, changes in policies, economics, and investment outlooks. They came to us with the need to develop a brand identity for the conference and its partner podcast that fit within the University of Georgia’s brand guidelines, but also communicated its association with the forest services industry.
The visual identity we created consists of a forest graphic, supporting an ‘investment line’ that features a shield, tracing back to the conference’s roots in the University of Georgia while looking to the future of the forest industry’s growth.
Built around the tenants of connection, growth, and learning, the positioning statement and practical headlines we crafted communicate the Center for Forest Business and Timberland Investment Conference’s dedication to delivering real-world impact by providing actionable insights and practical tools that help the forest industry, private landowners, and broader stakeholders make informed, timely decisions to achieve sustainable forestry production.
