This role reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and supports a small, high-performing team. You will contribute across client accounts through campaign execution, tracking implementation, website optimization, and performance reporting. We’re looking for a digitally-fluent, analytically-minded marketer who takes initiative and thrives in a hands-on environment.

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for digital campaign execution, analytics implementation, SEO and social media support, website updates, and performance reporting.

You will help ensure campaigns are built correctly, tracking is accurate, data is reliable, and insights are actionable. You will support strategy with disciplined execution.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Execution

  • Build and launch Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube, Demand Gen) from setup through optimization
  • Conduct keyword research and audience targeting development
  • Implement proper campaign structures aligned to business goals
  • Create landing pages; ensure UX best practices and alignment with campaign objectives
  • Configure and validate conversion tracking
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance metrics (CTR, CPC, Conv. Rate)
  • Monitor budget and performance trends

Tracking & Analytics

  • Implement and troubleshoot GA4 event tracking
  • Configure tags, triggers, and variables in Google Tag Manager
  • Validate conversion accuracy across platforms
  • Support attribution alignment between ad platforms and GA4
  • Audit tracking setups and identify data integrity issues

SEO Support

  • Conduct keyword research to inform landing page and content optimization
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, schema where appropriate)
  • Optimize existing website content for improved rankings and engagement
  • Monitor Google Search Console for ranking, coverage, and indexing issues
  • Support local SEO initiatives and backlink efforts as needed

Reporting & Performance Insights

  • Pull data from Google Ads, GA4, Meta, LinkedIn, Search Console, Sprout
  • Identify and report on meaningful KPIs tied to client goals
  • Build clear, concise performance reports
  • Surface optimization opportunities backed by data
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting cycles

Team Contribution

  • Support the Social Media Manager with scheduling, campaign coordination, and performance reporting as needed
  • Participate in campaign planning and strategy discussions
  • Stay current with platform updates and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
  • Proven experience setting up and managing Google Ads campaigns
  • Working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console
  • Experience implementing and validating conversion tracking
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO best practices
  • Experience working in WordPress
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads or GA4 certification
  • Experience building high-converting landing pages
  • Familiarity with technical SEO audits
  • Experience using Sprout Social and Mailchimp
