Social Media Manager - Kaptiv8

Kaptiv8 is seeking an energetic and experienced Social Media Manager who is well versed in brand-focused social media strategy, content creation and resource management. This person will be responsible for working closely with our Branding & Marketing teams to develop and implement powerful and engaging social media strategies through the management of a team of social content specialists.

Duties of the Social Media Manager:

  • Develop deeply informed, action-oriented social media strategies
  • Analyze client brands and identify themes for social media content
  • Serve as a brand journalist conceptualizing, planning, writing, pitching, and publishing content
  • Create engaging, high quality content on a weekly basis that captures the essence of each brand’s account
  • Manage posting for up to 10 social accounts
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with our Copywriter to develop creative social copy
  • Work closely with our Marketing Manager to ensure that social content aligns with overarching marketing strategy
  • Utilize Sprout Social to schedule posts
  • Engage with online communities to drive engagement
  • Create Facebook & Instagram ads and boosts as needed for client campaigns
  • Monitor & analyze social media and website metrics, making improvements accordingly
  • Compile social data and create comprehensive reports based on strategies
  • Stay on top of new technologies and industry news

Requirements of the role:

  • 3-5 years of social media content marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong background in content creation
  • Proven record of successfully managing multiple social media channels
  • Experience in using a scheduling tool (Sprout Social) to manage content
  • Well versed in the following social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook & Linkedin
    Experience with Twitter, Pinterest, and Tik Tok a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience engaging with users and driving engagement on social media
  • Ability to delegate to and manage a diverse team of social media content specialists
  • Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly and independently
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Creative and curious
  • Interested in a long-lasting relationship with a growing company
  • Proficiency in Canva required
