Kaptiv8 is seeking an energetic Social Media Support Specialist who is well versed in brand-focused social media content creation and management. This person will be responsible for creating and managing social media content for up to five clients and will work directly with our Chief Content Strategist to execute targeted social strategies on an ongoing basis.
Duties of the Senior Social Media Support Specialist:
- Work directly with our Chief Content Strategist to execute social strategies
- Create effective visually engaging graphics in Canva
- Analyze client brands and identify themes for social media content
- Serve as a brand journalist conceptualizing, planning, writing, pitching, and publishing content
- Create engaging, high quality content on a weekly basis that captures the essence of each brand’s account
- Manage posting for up to 10 social accounts
- Collaborate and brainstorm with our copy writer to develop creative social copy
- Utilize Sprout Social to schedule posts
- Work with our Marketing Manager to ensure that social content aligns with overarching marketing strategy
- Engage with online communities to drive engagement
- Create Facebook & Instagram ads and boosts as needed for client campaigns
- Monitor & analyze social media and website metrics, making improvements accordingly
- Compile social data and create comprehensive reports based on strategies
- Stay on top of new technologies and industry news
Requirements of the role:
- 3-5 years of social media content marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
- Strong background in content creation
- Proven record of successfully managing multiple social media channels
- Experience in using a scheduling tool to manage content
- Well versed in the following social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook & Linkedin Experience with Twitter, Pinterest, and Tik Tok a plus
- Proficiency in Canva required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience engaging with users and driving engagement on social media
- Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly and independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Creative and curious
